This paper comprehensively analyze the geology and tectonic settings of the western part of Albania favoring erosion process. A particular attention is paid to the neotectonics of the outer zones, as the most active one. We analyze source spectra of 30 moderate earthquakes (M ? 4.0), occurred in Albania during the period 2009-2015, with the aim to estimate their dynamic source parameters.
