We proposed a new hardware-software magnetic scanner for remote diagnostics of pipelines structure. The main tasks that the scanner solves are: diagnosis of potentially dangerous pipeline sections with high level of mechanic stress, search for underground pipeline route, correction of operator position under the pipeline during the diagnosis. The work is devoted to the new calibration method for vector geomagnetometer in the visualized coordinate system, which is connected with the body of the instrument. Standard navigation aids allows to transform geomagentic vector in the visualized coordinate system to the global coordinate system.
