EVOLUTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF GRASSLANDS FROM TIMI? - ROMANIA, INCLUDED IN THE ECOLOGIC NATURA 2000 NETWORK

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-29, Luminita Cojocariu)

In 2007, we celebrate one decade from the institution, in Romania, of protected natural area as sites of community importance, integrant part of the European Ecologic Network Natura 2000. Along these 10 years, we may observe progress in the management and extension of protected areas and implicitly of the Natura 2000Network in Romania, but also a series of impediments and difficulties in the application of this procedure. In this paperwork, we attempt to analyze the evolution of development and management of the S...

The relief, as genetic factor and пїЅsupportпїЅ on which the grassland areas are engrafted on, may be equally considered the major decisive element for vegetationпїЅs type, aspect and consistency, through altitude, slope and orientation. This study will highlight the influence exerted on grassland areas by relief factors, in mountain and sub-mountain regions, and subsequently it will determine the differentiated landscaping пїЅnormsпїЅ in concordance with the singularity of each analyzed sector. The grassland asse...

POLLUTED FUNGI SPECIES IN THE MINING WASTE HILLS CONIFEROUS NURSERIES

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2008, C. Tanase, A. Pui, R. Olaru, V. CLAUDIU Chinan, C. C. BРѕrsan, A. Cojocariu)

Our investigation regard the distribution of pollutant in the soils degraded by mine activity in the circuit soil-macromycetes. Pollutants categories have been evidenced using FT-IR spectroscopy. Our results underline the macromycetes species extremely flexible capacity to accumulate pollutants of various categories. The distribution of the pollutants in the soil varies from one region to another and depends on the prelevation depth.

THE DYNAMICS OF MICROBIOTA ON SOILS DEGRADED BY MINING ACTIVITIES

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2008, S. Dunca, M. Stefan, C. Tanase, A. Cojocariu)

The aim of this study is to provide data on biological state of soil in depth, using the comparative study of general microbiota frequency and activity. For the quantitative analysis of soil microbiota, we have used soil samples for dilutions (10-1 - 10-6). The results were expressed in colony-forming units/g soil (CFU). The soil was sampling from Calimani National Park (The Oriental Carpathians) in October 2006, June and September 2007. The soil microbiota registers quantitative variations from one sample point t...

THE POSSIBILITY TO USE MUSHROOMS FOR SOIL REMEDIATION IN A SULPHUR MINE AREA

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2008, C. Mircea, C. Tanase, L. Agoroaei, C. Butnaru, V. Chinan, C. Birsan, A. Cojocariu, E. Butnaru)

Our paper presents the results of a study concerning the possibility to use mushrooms for soil remediation after mining exploitation. The samples have been harvested from Calimani Mountains (Northern Carpathians) an important site for sulphur extraction in Romania. Despite, the sulphur mines have been closed from several years, soil and vegetation are still affected and is necessary to improve theirs qualities especially by biological methods. By oxidation processes, sulphur is transformed in air to oxides especia...

HIGH-FREQUENCY COLD PLASMA – AN ECOLOGICAL TREATMENT FOR THE MICROBIAL DECONTAMINATION OF ORGANIC MATERIALS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2007, S. Dunca, M. Stefan, A. Cojocariu, G. Ioanid, D. Rusu)

The analysis of the practical applications of the findings of the preliminary tests for the effectiveness of the disinfection treatments with high-frequency cold plasma conducted on samples collected from patrimony items and reference materials of organic nature has shown that the microbiological investigations confirm the biocide action of the HF plasma in fighting bacteria (after 45 minutes in the samples of icon wood and natural silk, 60 minutes in the cotton samples, 90 minutes in the archaeological wood and l...
