COMPARING EMBEDDED SOLUTIONS FOR MECHANICAL VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF A 3D-PRINTED CYCLOIDAL GEARBOX

(STEF92 Technology, 2023-10-01, Dawid Socholik, Aleksander Skrzypiec, Tymoteusz Turlej)

The vibration study of the cycloidal gear and the prevention of vibrations are important issues in the field of mechanical engineering. Cycloidal gears are used in many different applications, including industrial machinery, industrial robots and medical devices. Vibration tests of the cycloidal gear consist in identifying the sources of vibrations and determining their characteristics. As a result of the conducted research, the sources of vibrations can be identified and strategies for their reduction can be deve...

COMPARISON OF THE PERFORMANCE OF DIFFERENT NEURAL NETWORK ARCHITECTURES AND PRE-TRAINED NEURAL NETWORKS FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF FOREST FLORA AND FAUNA

(STEF92 Technology, 2023-10-01, Witold Prusak, Aleksander Skrzypiec, Tymoteusz Turlej)

The aim of this project is to compare the effectiveness of different neural network architectures and pre-trained models for the classification of forest flora and fauna. Experiments were conducted on a dataset containing images of selected plants and animals found in the forest. The project covers the basics of convolutional neural networks, and compares the architectures of the networks used in the study. The results of the experiments compare the effectiveness of different convolutional neural network architect...

ARTIFICIALLY AIDED FUNGI RECOGNITION USING CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORKS

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-12-27, Kamil Gajewski, Witold Prusak, Jaroslaw Fafara, Aleksander Skrzypiec, Tymoteusz Turlej)

This article presents the concept of using neural networks in the recognition of fungi for use in a mobile forest ecosystem inspection robot. There are many dependencies regarding the occurrence of fungi in the vicinity of specific tree species. The presence of some fungi may be the result of a developing tree disease. The possibility of quick recognition of the fungus species using an autonomous mobile robot will allow for faster detection and prevention of the disease in entire ecosystems. An attempt was made to...

MOBILE MANIPULATOR-ROBOT FOR INSPECTION OF INCLINED WATER PIPELINES

(STEF92 Technology, 2022-12-27, Kamil Gajewski, Aleksander Skrzypiec, Mateusz Swierczek, Tymoteusz Turlej)

Currently, many emphases are placed on the possibility of limiting excavation works in the event of water pipelines or sewage systems failure. For this purpose, various types of inspection and repair robots/manipulators are used, which can enter the installation's interior without the need to get into the pipe physically (e.g. with an excavator). Mobile robots allow you to diagnose the problem (or provide information on which section the failure occurred) and in some cases, to repair (unplug) the installation with...
