COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF RESERVOIR PARAMETERS OF FLYSCH SANDSTONES IN THE S-8 WELL (WESTERN CARPATHIANS, SOUTHERN POLAND)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Grzegorz Machowski, Ewa Pstrucha, Artur KrzyЕјak)

This study focuses on petrophysical characteristics of flysch sandstones in the S-8 well section, located in the western part of the Polish Outer Carpathians (southern Poland). A number of laboratory tests were performed with application of the mercury injection capillary pressure, low field nuclear magnetic resonance, X-ray diffraction and pulse decay permeability measurements. Laboratory tests results were compared with the well logging interpretation. The laboratory analyses were conducted on core samples from ...

PETROPHYSICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF THE PORE SPACE IN GASBEARING MIOCENE ROCKS FROM THE SIEDLECZKA AREA (THE CARPATHIAN FOREDEEP, POLAND)

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Grzegorz Machowski, Alicja Pstrucha, Artur KrzyЕјak)

Pore space characterization is an essential element of reservoir characterization, often based on combination of different laboratory techniques. The study concerns mercury injection capillary pressure, low field nuclear magnetic resonance, gas permeability measurements and X-ray diffraction analysis on Miocene sandstones and mudstones. Core samples were taken from several boreholes from the Siedleczka area, which is located in an important gas province of Poland пїЅ the Miocene Carpathian Foredeep Basin (southeas...

POROSITY VARIATIONS OF THE MAIN DOLOMITE ROCKS IN THE P-1 WELL (W POLAND) IN THE SCOPE OF LOW-FIELD NMR

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Natalia Radzik, Artur KrzyЕјak, Joanna Gorka, Z.T. Lalowicz)

The Zechstein Main Dolomite (Ca2) is one of the largest petroleum bearing formations in Poland. Numerous hydrocarbon deposits occur within Ca2 in the carbonate platform sediments of the Polish part of the Southern Permian Basin. Application of modern methods allows evaluation of porosity and pore size distribution and enhances the proper characterization of reservoir rocks in non-invasive way. The study concerns lowfield Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) measurements conducted on Ca2 carbonate rocks from P-1 well l...
