The article presents the issue of scale deposits in sanitary installations. Scale contributes to improper operation of sanitary devices and leads to their degradation. Scale build-up in pipes and measuring elements results in higher water consumption due to inaccurate estimation of this resource consumption. The consequence is that devices based on process automation do not work properly due to disturbances in the actual water flow. The formation of deposits also leads to economic and ecological losses, as sanitar...

SIMULATION INVESTIGATIONS OF ROADHEADER DYNAMICS FOR AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF CUTTING PROCESS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Piotr Cheluszka, Eryk Remiorz, Jacek Gawlik)

A starting point for roadheader robotisation (understood as a fully autonomous machine) is to automate the cutting process, which is the basic working process carried out by such machines. In case of boomпїЅtype roadheaders, it consists in automatic control of the movement of cutting heads to ensure that the face surface can be worked with optimum process parameters. This will guarantee high drilling efficiency (drilling advancement) and lower energy consumption, reduced dynamic loads and elimination of overloads....
