In 2015-2020 the content of heavy metals and metalloids in the river bottom sediments in Kaliningrad region was studied. Definition of arsenic, lead, zinc, copper, and vanadium, iron, manganese, titanium, aluminum was carried out in water samples and in the samples of bottom and floodplain sediments in the watercourses, flowing into the Curonian Lagoon, in the Baltic Sea and in Kaliningradsky (Vistula) Lagoon, as well as in the watercourses of the southern part of the Kaliningrad region.
