A distinctive structure has ascertained in the area of the Western Carpathians on the bases of the Remote Sensing, in the past. Their explanation and verification has not yet realized, even though all structures have regional character and many morphological signs, which ambiguously point out recent activity and deformations, including the present earthquake foci. Among mentioned structures belongs to the interpreted non-linear structures - ?gravity nappe? in the western part of the Nizke Tatry Mts. and adjacent a...

METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF USAGE THE ERT METHOD AND SUBSEQUENT INTERPRETATION OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE SEARCH OF VARIOUS ANTHROPOGENIC OBJECTS AT SHALLOW DEPTHS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, doc. RNDr. Pavel Pospisil, Jan Polacek, Mgr. Marketa Camfrlova, Cuadros Leon Tommhy Lervi)

The article presents selected results obtained by using of electrical resistivity tomography method in searching of different, mostly anthropogenic objects at shallow depths. The anticipated depth of the object is up to 20m. These objects are relatively small with dimensions up to maximum in first meters in diameter. In terms of the shapes of these objects it is possible to define two groups. The first group consists mainly of the objects whose shape can be replaced by a vertical or horizontal cylinder. The second...
