HYDROLOGICAL MODELING OF WATER FLOW IN THE RIVER USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, M. Neugebauer)

Modeling was carried out on the basis of hydrological data from the ?yna River (north-eastern Poland). The length of the river is 264 km, the average river slope is 1.2 ?, the catchment area is 7126 km2. Modeling was based on data on water flows and the amount of precipitation. Neural models were created in which the input data is the amount of rainfall and the output is the flow. The possessed data has been divided into two parts, one of which was used to teach and test ANN, and the other - smaller - to verify th...

RECYCLING OFMSW AT THE SITE OF PRODUCTION FOR ENERGY GENERATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, M. Neugebauer)

Waste poses a growing problem is the contemporary world. The volume of household waste per resident continues to increase at a staggering rate. In line with the EU requirements, growing proportions of waste should be recycled, and Poland is expected to recycle 50% of its entire waste stream by 2020. Biological waste can also be recycled, but the recovery rate for this waste fraction is close to zero in Poland. The above applies particularly to biological waste from households. The quantity of OFMSW generated by a ...
