The complicated geodynamic situation occurred as the result of the intensive exploitation of Verkhnekamskoe potash deposit (VKMKS) was complexified by induced accidents in 1995, 2007 and 2014. Most of the city of Berezniki is located above the minefield of the BKPRU-1 mine.
