The study area is located in northeastern Bulgaria (Northern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast), between the Ikantalaka locality, Balchik municipality and the village of Bozhurets, Kavarna Municipality, Dobrich district. The region in question is located in northeastern Bulgaria, 2.8 km southeast of the village of Balgarevo, Kavarna municipality, in the protected picturesque area "Zelenka". The study area is part of a coastal zone with a length of 2.5-3.0 km, where several descending springs are established. During the mapping in September 2018 in the studied area a zone of groundwater discharge was established in the slope at an absolute elevation of 36 m.
