The effect of a polycomposite compost consisting of three organic waste (farmyard manure, sewage sludge, and marine algae) on the nutrition and seed production of the sunflower cultivated in a field experience on a Chernozems in the southeastern part of Romania, was investigated for 2 years. Within an expeditionary study, conducted in the south-eastern part of the Romanian Plain and central and southern Dobrogea, soil samples (0-20 cm) under the maize during the growing phase of 4-7 pairs of leaves, have been collected.
