Romania has an important rail network, of public use, consisting of about 10764 km of railway, some of which are affected by instability phenomena. On the night of February 21st, 2010, the county road 724 that connects the Malu cu Flori-Pucheni village was destroyed by a violent landslide, isolating it. In a few hours the road, together with the electrical, phone and water systems were moved downstream 30m along 100 meters.
