GEODETIC MONITORING OF THE STRESS STATE OF THE ROTARY KILN SHELL

(STEF92 Technology, 2019-06-20, Sergey Mogilny)

For a more complete use of information in geodetic measurements of rotary kiln geometric parameters, a method of mathematic simulation of the stress state in the kiln shell is proposed. The essence of the calculation method is to ascertain the stress-strain state of the kiln shell as an elastic statically indeterminate multi-span beam. The disclosure of static uncertainty is performed by the displacement method, which allows to unify the calculation algorithm for kilns with an unrestricted number of intermediate k...

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SELF-CALIBRATION OF NON-METRIC DIGITAL CAMERA THAT USED ON UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Sergey Mogilny)

Unmanned aerial vehicles are used now in different spheres of economy from agriculture to inspection of industrial facilities. In view of the increased demand for this type of service, the quality of the data received has become a question. One of the most important factors affecting the quality of the data is the efficiency of self-calibration of non-metric digital cameras. The criteria have been defined for evaluating the effectiveness and feasibility of self-calibration for a particular photogrammetric network,...
