All wastes, as the products of human activity, necessarily enter matte r cycles in nature and ecosystems after certain time. They can damage the nature by their direct effects on biotic and abiotic ecosystems. Our contributio n discusses the risk properties of wastes and their influences on the environment with respect to the protec tion of public health.
