IMPACT OF NATURAL RADIOACTIVITY ON THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE POPULATION DURING THE EXPLOITATION OF OIL AND GASES DEPOSITS

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Stefan Petrache, Cristina Jugastreanu, Timur Chiș)

The article analyzes the effect of the radioactivity of some crude oil components on the environment in the Moine?ti geological area. The analysis of the equivalent dose flow measurements shows the influence of contaminated equipment, in the areas adjacent to them, where when measuring the soil were obtained values of dose flow between 0.2 - 3.0 ?Sv/h, both at a height of 10 cm from of soil, as well as at a height of 100 cm from the ground, with a maximum of 3.5 ?Sv/h. By interpreting the results of the determinat...

THERMAL REGIME ANALYSIS IN AREAS WITH HYDROCARBON POTENTIAL

(STEF92 Technology, 2021-12-20, Cristian Jugastreanu, Stefan Petrache, Timur Chiș)

The scientific interest of evaluating the thermal regime of various areas has come to the fore with a more complete understanding that all major processes inside the Earth are related to thermal events and that all physical properties of rocks, as a basis for observed geophysical phenomena, are more or less dependent on temperature. The characterization of the thermal regime is followed by the basic elements: temperature and geothermal gradient, thermal conductivity and geothermal flow. The quantitative study of g...

NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF A STEAM REFORMER TUBE FOR STATIONARY FUEL CELL APPLICATIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Viorel Ionescu, Timur Chis)

Compact fuel processors based on steam reforming process using natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and biogas have been developed for over a decade in order to offer the fuel gas (hydrogen) into the combined heat and power (CHP) fuel cell systems for cogeneration of electricity and heat. Numerical modelling of a steam reforming reactor described by fully coupled mass, energy and flow equations was developed in this paper by using the Finite Element Method (FEM) based Comsol Multiphysics software version 5.2...

OPTIMISATION OF OIL PRODUCTS BLENDING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Timur Chis, Viorel Ionescu, Renata Radulescu)

The emergence and development of the internal combustion engine began in the 18-th century in England. But the first patent for a piston engine with compression ignition was achieved by Rudolf Diesel in year 1892 [1]. The engine use coal powder as fuel. The most used vegetable oil as a fuel and peanut oil. In the year 1859 in Pennsylvania was first released at the amount of crude oil that has been refined for kerosene and gasoline. Because a large quantity of by-products remained unused, Rudolf Diesel using a frac...

DETERMINATION OIL POLLUANTS TO GROUNDWATER AND SURFACE SOILS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Timur Chiș)

The crude-oil import and pipeline- related pumping activities date since 1967, when the ship Marianne III delivered th e first “black gold” shipping to Constanta harbor. Due to the petroleum products growth and the development of the petrochemical industry, it has been decided to import and transport crude oil through pipe lines. This paper presenting the Management of the environmental scheme in the Roumanian Oil Transporting Pipeline based to long experience (20 years to working in the environmental protecti...

THE ROUMANIAN OIL CLASIFFICATIONS

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Timur Chis)

Crude oil composition is very complex and can vary even within in every reservoir. Petroleum crude oil content varies according to light, the ratio of hydrocarbon classes, the content of compounds with oxygen, nitrogen, or sulfur and the presence or absence of components.Such oils have been classified according to the amount of paraffin, the percentage of sulfur in the fuel freezing point. This material is inte nded to present the existing classifications andproperties near the Romanian Petroleum and ordering a ne...
