COMPARISON OF TERRAIN CORRECTION IN MICROGRAVIMETRY USING AIRBORNE AND TERRESTIAL LASER SCANING DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Slawomir Porzucek, Wojciech Matwij)

In microgravimetric survey it is sometimes necessary to take into account the terrain correction, which eliminates the influence of terrain relief from the measured values. The accuracy of its calculation depends on the quality of mapping terrain relief in the form of a digital terrain model. For mapping is usually used geodetic data from additional measurements carried out using a total station or GPS, and more recently Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS). Additional measurements increase the cost of survey, especia...

METHODS ANALYSIS FOR THE PROCESSING OF POINT CLOUDS FROM TERRESTRIAL LASER SCANNING IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF DATA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Wojciech Matwij)

Currently, terrestrial laser scanning is one of the most common method of measurement used for registration of the shape of objects. This technology enables in short time to designate huge collections of spatial data, known as point clouds. Due to the amount of occupied memory, storing large data sets becomes now a big problem. One solution is to create algorithms that allows to reduce the amount of recorded data without losing the essential spatial information. On the market there are mostly paid programs, that a...

THE VISUAL ASSESSMENT OF THE CONDITION OF A SHAFT LINING AND REINFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT USING A VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Wojciech Jaskowski, Tomasz Lipecki, Pawel Cwiakala, Wojciech Matwij)

The paper presents made for Salt Mine пїЅWieliczkaпїЅ: <System of video monitoring of the housing and shaft reinforcement condition during sealing the rock mass around the mine shaft "Kosciuszko">. It was used during the monitoring of sealing the rock around the mine shaft "Kosciuszko", and now serves for periodic visual inspection. Due to the fact that ongoing work injection may lead to deformation of the shaft lining and reinforcement the system that allowed real-time monitoring of the shaft was built. The proce...
