STRUCTURE AND INTERANNUAL VARIABILITY OF CONIFEROUS FORESTS RADIATION BALANCE IN THE MOUNTAIN CRIMEA

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Gorbunov, Roman, Gorbunova, Tatiana, Tabunshchik, Vladimir, Drygval, Anna)

The paper presents the results of research on the radiation balance of coniferous forest ecosystems in the mountain Crimea. Based on open reanalysis databases and the geoinformational modeling results, the elements values of the radiation balance of coniferous forest ecosystems located in different landscape zones and levels are calculated. It is found that for the period from 1983 to 2013 the values of the radiation balance of the mountain Crimea coniferous forest ecosystems vary from 1641.8 to 1836.4 MJ/m2?year....

BOTTOM SEDIMENTS AND THEIR PROPERTIES IN THE CRIMEA COASTAL REGIONS

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Gurov, Konstantin, Konovalov, Sergey)

Studies of bottom sediments in the Crimean Peninsula coastal regions are highly essential because these sediments are under heavy pressures of maritime activities, but their good ecological state is highly important due to resort attractiveness of this region. Correlation between physical and chemical characteristics of sediments makes it possible to determine sedimentation conditions and anthropogenic impacts. Samples have been taken from the surface layer of bottom sediments in the coastal regions of Crimea in 2...

SOIL-LITOLOGICAL FEATURES OF ANCIENT GREEK VINEYARDS ON THE HERAKLEIAN PENINSULA, SOUTH-WEST CRIMEA

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Lisetskii, Fedor, Poletaev, Arseniy, Zelenskaya, Evgeniya)

The period of Greek colonisation and economic land development in the northern Black Sea coast stimulated an active transfer of agricultural technologies of subtropical farming from Asia Minor to the sub-Mediterranean region of the South-West of Crimea starting in late 5 c. BC. This determined the formation of the original land management system, the practice of soul cultivation for perennial plantations, and adaptive crop production within the area of about 10 thousand ha, which largely characterises Tauric Chers...

BIOGEOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF GRAPE GROWING SOILS AND THEIR SOIL-FORMING MATERIALS ON POST-ANCIENT AND MODERN VINEYARDS OF THE CRIMEAN PENINSULA

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Zelenskaya, Evgenia)

A soil-forming material, its texture and geochemistry, is one of the main natural factors for a grape plant, which is used to develop deep roots over a long life cycle. A plant mostly receives a wide variety of chemical elements from parent rocks, which affect the plant's growth and yield. The purpose of the work was to determine the ampeloecological specific features of the soil-forming materials of the Crimean Peninsula for grape cultivation. Based on the soil survey and GIS analysis, we substantiated four main ...

ASSESSMENT OF SEDIMENTATION RATE IN THE BALAKLAVA BAY BY RADIONUCLIDES

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Kremenchutskii, Dmitrii, Gurov, Konstantin)

The study of regional characteristics of the bottom sediments physicochemical structure in semi-closed water areas (using the example of the Balaklava Bay) is especially relevant due to the fact that the recreational potential development rate of this region has significantly increased. During the studies, 3 columns (two in northern part of the bay and one in southern) of bottom sediments were taken and the activity of 137Cs, 210Pb, and 226Ra in them was determined. Column samples were taken using an acrylic soil ...

TOTAL PETROLEUM HYDROCARBONS IN THE COASTAL WATERS OF CRIMEAN PENINSULA

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, Soloveva, Olga, Tikhonova, Elena, Mironov, Oleg)

The monitoring of ecological state of the Crimean coast is the great environmental importance. The aim of the work was to determine the concentration of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) in the water column of the Azov-Black Sea coastal waters of the Crimea. It could be the first stage of planning and conducting of regular studies, as well as providing information on their content in the studied region in the spring season. The amount of TPH in water was determined by IR-spectrometry. The analysis of their conten...
