INCREASING THE ACCURACY OF MULTISPECTRAL TELEVISION MEASUREMENTS OF PHYTOPLANKTON PARAMETERS IN AQUEOUS MEDIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Kvaternyuk, S., Pohrebennyk, V., Petruk, R., Kvaternyuk, O.)

Multispectral television measurements can be used for applied tasks of environmental monitoring, in particular for measuring the parameters of phytoplankton in aqueous media. In this case, the concentration of phytoplankton particles in the water volume is determined, the average particle sizes and the average concentration of chromophores in the near-surface layer. The aim of the work is to improve the multispectral television method to increase the accuracy of measuring the parameters of phytoplankton. An improv...

INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF THE SURFACE WATERS POLLUTION: REGIONAL ASPECT

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Mitryasova, O., Pohrebennyk, V.)

Environmental assessment is also the basis for the definition and management of ecological risk of anthropogenic load on the environment. The possible impact on the Bugsky estuary are presented and substantiated and solutions are proposed to reduce the anthropogenic impact on the waters of the estuary. The main element of risk analysis is to identify hazards that can lead to negative consequences. Purpose is a comparative analysis of the environmental status of surface waters on the basis of integrated indicators....

THE STATUS OF THE SMALL RIVER AS AN INDICATOR OF THE WATER SECURITY OF NATURAL SURFACE WATER

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-11-20, Mitryasova, O., Pohrebennyk, V.)

An important feature of the small rivers in the fact that they are the starting point of the river network, and any changes that occur in their mode, will marked on the hydrological chain. Small rivers form the water resources of medium and large rivers, hydrochemical water quality and creating lands large areas. Object is a small river Mertvovod in Mykolaiv region (Ukraine). Purpose is an environmental analysis of the state of the Mertvovod River, to determine and analyze possible impacts on the state of the wate...

EVALUATION OF SURFACE WATER QUALITY IN MINING AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Pohrebennyk, V., Mitryasova, O., Dzhumelia, E., Kochane, A.)

The activities of mining and chemical enterprises in Ukraine have reserved a number of environmental issues that affects all elements of the environment and requires immediate solution. Nowadays, in Ukraine, there are still relevant soil subsidence in areas of mining and chemical enterprises, the accumulation of large-tonnage industrial wastes, accumulation and migration of heavy metals in soils. Equally, important is the issue of water pollution in the area of mining and chemical enterprises. The purpose of this ...

SNOWMELT INFILTRATION USING HYDRUS-1D BASED ON A SNOW SURFACE ENERGY BALANCE MODEL FOR BUCEGI MOUNTAINS, ROMANIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Dobre, R.G., Senitkova, I. Juhasova, Gogu, C. R., Miron, I.)

An accurate simulation of snowmelt infiltration rates for an area of Bucegi Mountains, during spring thaw, has been made using the snow routine of HYDRUS- 1D. The model is based on coupled flow and heat transport in the vadose zone. The snowmelt routine is based on degree day concept. As boundary conditions are used, surface water and heat fluxes can be calculated from the energy balance equation. The variables of the surface energy balance equation and melt rates can be calculated using meteorological data: air t...

THE DEGREE OF POLLUTION WITH HEAVY METALS OF FALLOW SOILS IN RURAL ADMINISTRATIVE UNITS OF PSARY AND PLOKI IN POLAND

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Pohrebennyk, V., Petryk, A.)

The article aims at analysing the content of heavy metals in the soils of two rural administrative units of the municipality of Trzebinia namely Psary and P?oki which are located in the Silesian-Krak?w Upland, in the western part of the Malopolska province, in Poland. The analysis of soil material was based on the determination of granulometric composition of the soil with the use of the Casagrande method modified by Pr?szy?ski (according to the industry standard BN-78/9180-11)[1], soil reaction in 1M KCl and in w...

COMPARATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS OF WASTE PROCESSING METHODS IN PAPER RECYCLING

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Ishchenko, V., Pohrebennyk, V., Kochanek, A., Przydatek, G.)

The paper deals with processing the waste generated in paper recycling: initial waste of paper mill and sludge after wastewater treatment. The authors have analyzed characteristics of the waste of paper recycling generated in paper recycling plant near Kyiv (Ukraine): calorific value, moisture and ash content. The heating value of waste of paper recycling range from 6.5 to 24 kJ/kg and significantly depends on moisture content. Potential environmental impact depends largely on the physical and chemical characteris...

MODELING OF THE ELECTRON TEMPERATURE ENHANCEMENT IN THE SUBAURORAL IONOSPHERE

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Gololobov, A., Tarlea, G. M., Hera, D., Flamaropol, G., Erhatic, R.)

The results of the electron temperature distribution modelling in the F region of the subauroral ionosphere for different helio-geomagnetic conditions are presented taking into account magnetospheric heat fluxes. The study has been carried out using the threedimensional model of the high-latitude ionosphere in Euler?s variables which taking into account its thermal regime. It is shown that during the period of low solar activity in winter solstice condition the displacement of poles leads to regular longitudinal f...

ENVIROMENTAL FOOTPRINT ENTERPRISE AS INDICATOR OF BALANCE IT-S ACTIVITY

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mitryasova, O., Pohrebennyk, V., Kochanek, A., Stepanova, O.)

An idea of ?clean production?, which provides for the modernization of industrial enterprises to environmental standards, is the concept that promote to sustainable development. The idea of combining economic and environmental effectiveness is a base of the concept. The most common indicator of balance is the environmental footprint, which is determined through calculating the use of natural resources. In addition, the environmental footprint provides an opportunity to assess how long can affect on the environment...
