STRATEGY OF THE HOUSE WITH SIDE WINDOWS AND ITS ROLE OF THERMAL REGULATOR IN A HOT-DRY CLIMATE A GHARDAIA

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-11-20, Hamdani, MAAMAR)

In southern Algeria, energy consumption is inevitable due to the hot climate and the summer period, which extends for more than half a year, it is necessary to take a strategic approach to ensure the sustainability and maximum comfort while reducing energy through passive and active architectural. Forthis reason, to reduce this consumption, it is necessary to improve the performance of the building. As a result, windows and ventilation become key points to improve in terms of Losses. These two elements may be at t...

NEW PROGRESSIVE TEACHING METHODS AT THE FBI

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Malerova, L., Adamec, V., Berglowiec, P.)

The ambition of universities is the implementing of new progressive teaching methods using state-of-the-art technical equipment. The general aim of modern teaching methods is to provide students with the widest range of information channels that can be used to obtain information and data. Students are specifically challenged to use this information. Based on this, students acquire their gained knowledge. This modern model prefers current pedagogy. One of the projects focusing on new trends in teaching is the proje...

TEACHING METHODS FOCUSING ON SIMULATION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Malerova, L., Pokorny, J., Brumar, J.)

Simulation and training technologies offer new opportunities for improving the quality of teaching at universities. The introduction of new progressive teaching is based on simulation and situational methods. Simulation methods create a playful character of the situation without a confrontational character, as is the case in real life. It makes it easier for students to move forward and gain insight. Situational methods are procedures for problem solving of model situations. Their basis is based on a real extraord...

SIMULATION AS AN EFFECTIVE INSTRUMENT FOR STRATEGIC PLANNING AND TRANSFORMATION OF SMART CITIES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Klebanov, B., Nemtinov, A., Zvereva, O.)

This paper details findings of the complex research aimed at the strategic planning effective instrument finding and postulates that simulation with agent-based models implementation can become this instrument. Every city model is an immensely complex artefact, as it should be a set of interrelated digital twins of social living and infrastructural non-living objects, which are to reflect the real objects in the dynamics of their lifecycles, at the same time, providing an opportunity for developing effective contr...

APPLICATION OF THE MODEL APPROACH FOR THE PROCESS OF BULK MATERIAL LOADING

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Saderova, J., Ristovic, I.)

Modelling is the process of replacing the dynamic system of its model. The loading of mineral resources is an integral part of their circulation. The first loading process is being carried out during the excavation of raw materials. Subsequently, the loading process is carried out in the other stages of its transportation by various means of transport or processing. The contribution describes a model example of loading the selected mineral raw material into the selected type of transport means railway wagon. The m...

INFORMATIC SIMULATION OF PLANTS BIOLOGICAL PROCESSES

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, MADJAR, R. M., SCAETEANU, G. VASILE, MOT, A., DINU, M. D., Prodan, M.)

Simulation of biological processes with the aid of computing techniques helps to model physiological processes, to create mathematical models with the computer support. Starting from experimental data difficult to be obtained, we can do calculation algorithms to identify the variation functions of the processes that are to be simulated, then to interpolate in order to fill them in the missing data collection. Having the variation parameters (input data): time, temperature, dry substance, a software product (output...

EVALUATION OF POLLING SYSTEMS INFLUENCE ON QUALITY OF SERVICE IN COMPUTER NETWORKS

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Ditu, Lia-Mara, Klosok-Bazan, I., Zhamyanov, D., Batomunkuev, V.)

The quality of the operation of broadband wireless computer networks is largely determined by the mechanism of an ordered centralized poll of terminal stations, called polling. The models of polling systems adequately describe the operation of broadband wireless networks under the control of Wi-Fi and Wi-MAX protocols with a centralized coordination function (PCF). Despite the complexity and high cost, the equipment supporting centralized management most effectively uses the most valuable resources of a broadband ...

MAGNETIC IMPACT DAMPENING OF VIBRATIONS IN TECHNOLOGICAL EQUIPMENT FOR OIL AND GAS PRODUCTION

(STEF92 Technology, 2018-06-20, Bukhtoyarov, Vladimir)

In the paper a magneto-impact approach for vibration damping of technological machines used in oil and gas production is proposed. It is suggested that there are specific features of magnetically impacted vibration dampening that favorably distinguish it from the classical mechanically impact vibration dampening. It is shown that usage of magnetism effect allows to exclude mechanical shocks and damage to working elements. The higher reliability of such vibration damping systems is suggested in comparison with mech...
