Within twelve months, comprehensive studies were conducted on the effect of full-scale climatic tests on the properties of 30HGSA steel’s samples were carried out with full immersion in water at the mouth of the Don River (the basin of the Sea of Azov) at two stations (Station 1 & Station 2). The water area where the experiment was carried out is characterized by a complex combination of fresh, slightly saline and brackish waters, which affects the structure of communities of aquatic organisms. The article shows t...

FORMATION OF FOULING COMMUNITIES ON EXPERIMENTAL PLATES AFTER 6 MONTHS OF EXPOSITION IN THE MOUTH AREA OF THE DON RIVER

(STEF92 Technology, 2020-09-20, N. I. Bulysheva, G. Yu. Glushchenko, А.В. Клещенков, Ekaterina Varchenko)

The purpose of research is to study the joint influence of climatic and biological factors on materials in the mixing zone of river and seawaters in the mouth area of the Don River. In December 2018, studies began on the dynamics of settling of fouling organisms on experimental plates (aluminum alloys of grades AMg6 and D16 and carbon steels of grades 30HGSA and St3) in full-scale climatic tests in the mixing zone of river and seawaters at two stations (St.1 & St.2) in the mouth area of the Don River. The control ...
