Synthetic polymers play an important role in the agricultural use as structural materials for creating a favorable environment for plant growth. Over the last few years the science of synthetic polymers has received great interest as one of the most exciting areas of polymer chemistry for the production of improved materials. The creation of multifunctional materials with prognosticates properties is important. The main objective of the research was to develop methods for the preparation of transparent hydrogels f...

THE INFLUENCE OF THE BENTONITE PARTICLES CONTENT ON OPERATING PROPERTIES OF GELATIN/STARCH/GLYCEROL/BENTONITE BIOCOMPOSITE FILMS

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, student Maria Zakharova, Mayya Uspenskaya, Aleksandr Podshivalov)

This work presents the results of the study of the different content (0-7 wt.% in increment of 1 wt%) effect of bentonite microparticles on the mechanical and barrier properties of gelatin/potato starch/glycerol (90/10/30 wt.%) edible biocomposite films. The biocomposite films are prepared by casting method from film-forming water solution and characterized by thickness, moisture content, transparency, mechanical test at puncturing, water barrier properties and water solubility. Increasing the concentration of ben...

THE PROBLEMS OF OIL POLLUTION CONTROL IN THE LABORATORY AND IN THE FLOW

(STEF92 Technology, 2017-06-20, Mayya Uspenskaya, A.B. Kopyltsova, B.P. Tarasov, K.V. Volkova)

One of the problems of Russian enterprises that independently control the oil pollution of circulating water and wastewater is the availability of appropriate analyzers. However, they should not burden the budget of an average enterprise. Two types of analyzers are considered in work: IR analyzers and fluorescent analyzers. The studies were carried out on standard samples. It is shown that for IR analyzers the deviation of the obtained results from the calculated value does not exceed 3% of the relative. The obtai...
