This article examines the mineral composition of the waters of important rivers in the Adjara region: the Chvana, Adjaristkali, Merisi, and Chorokhi. These rivers are part of the Black Sea basin and are used for drinking water supply, domestic needs, and agriculture, while the Adjara region is an important tourist destination. The study was conducted using an IGPE-9820 plasma atomic emission spectrometer. The concentrations of aluminum, boron, barium, beryllium, arsenic, calcium, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper,...

The study examined the sorption properties of beech, chestnut, and pine sawdust, as well as pine pellets, focusing on their ability to remove heavy metal ions from aqueous solutions. The kinetics of sorption were analyzed using CuSO4-5H2O and FeSO4-7H2O solutions (10?5-10?- M) over 1, 2, 4, 24, and 48 hours. Sorbents were modified with HCl and NaCl, and their efficiency was evaluated by measuring pH and electrical conductivity before and after sorption. Chestnut sawdust demonstrated the highest sorption capacity, ...

Producing non-seasonal vegetables in Georgia is actually impossible without greenhouses and specially-designed constructions. Greenhouse enables us to be less depended on environmental conditions, as well as to accumulate sun power and to artificially regulate all necessary factors for growth and development of various plants, to protect plants from unfavorable and adverse nature affects such as hail, wind, draught and freezing. In open ground soils the producing process of vegetable crops terminates as soon as un...

The evaluation of organoleptic parameters of Adjara Coastline Waters of the Black Sea Basin is carried, their multi-element composition is identified. The organoleptic and toxicological parameters of Clupea harengus and Trachurus mediterraneus inhabiting in these waters are determined. The research subjects are the waters of coastline of River Chorokhi confluence at the Black Sea and deep waters of the same location (Gonio Settlement, Active fishing zone) where research materials were taken from. According to rese...
