The region in question is located in northeastern Bulgaria, 2.8 km southeast of the village of Balgarevo, Kavarna municipality, in the protected picturesque area "Zelenka". The study area is part of a coastal zone with a length of 2.5-3.0 km, where several descending springs are established.
