The present study seeks to relate the focal mechanisms of moderate earthquakes, regional tectonics and the tectonic stress distribution, in Albania. We have analyzed 33 moderate earthquakes (2.2 ? This paper comprehensively analyze the geology and tectonic settings of the western part of Albania favoring erosion process. We analyze source spectra of 30 moderate earthquakes (M ? 4.0), occurred in Albania during the period 2009-2015, with the aim to estimate their dynamic source parameters.
