This paper comprehensively analyze the geology and tectonic settings of the western part of Albania favoring erosion process. A particular attention is paid to the neotectonics of the outer zones, as the most active one. We analyze source spectra of 30 moderate earthquakes (M ? 4.0), occurred in Albania during the period 2009-2015, with the aim to estimate their dynamic source parameters. Using broadband seismic records (BB) of Albanian Seismological Network (ASN), along with those from other regional ones, data representative of local tectonics of Albania, are selected.
