The case study analyzed in the paper refers to a group of new buildings built near the campus of the University Politehnica of Bucharest. The UniversityпїЅs campus has its own cogeneration power plant equipped with two reciprocating engines using natural gas. Each engine generates 800 kWe of electricity for UniversityпїЅs own consumption and for selling it on electricity market.
