Maritime Differential GPS systems (283.5-325 kHz) are today the basic method for determining the position of vessels in coastal navigation, entering into seaports as well as pilotage around the world. Today, the position accuracy of these systems reaches about 1 m (p = 0.95) and its availability is higher than 99%.
