The article deals with numerical analysis of vertical normal contact stress in subsoil of foundation slab of 16-storey monolithic reinforced concrete frame building situated in Kiev, Ukraine. The foundation gap is located 11.65 m below the level of surrounding terrain. Numerical calculations are verified with real measured values of contact stress (published in Lazebnik, 1998) in four different cross sections of foundation slab.
