The main problem of restoration of localities of the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin is the occurrence of overburden rocks from the series of rocks of coal seams. Representative example of these localities is the Strimice dump. This report briefly summarises the history of reclamation of this dump. Main attention is devoted to the result of application of fertilizable rocks and to the results of the research of the area retained for natural succession.

The pyrope deposits under the Cesk\'e Stredohor\'\i mountain range have been known for at least hundred of years. The paper just summarized the geological situation of pyrope localities, describes the history of its being exploited and finding of exceptional games. Main attention is devoted to the result of mineralogical research of localities, deposit meaning and perspective of individual localities.

The difficulty in reclamation of the North Bohemian Basin dumps consists in extremely severe properties of rocks in most of the dumps. It mainly concerns the rocks of the overlaying formation and the formation of brown coal seams. ATLAS DMT software contains a set of suitable application tools. One of them is the EROZE tool (Erosion), which allows the calculation of the long-term loss of soil from the area i.e. soil lost.
