REVIEW OF THE ACHIEVED PRODUCTIVITY OF THE COMBINED OVERBURDEN HAULAGE SYSTEM AT THE VELIKI KRIVELJ OPEN PIT - SERBIA

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Miodrag Žikić)

The open pit Veliki Krivelj is a copper mine which operates within RTB Bor Group in Serbia. In 1998 a combined haulage system involving the initial dump truck haulage, crusher, belt conveyor and a boom spreader for waste disposal was designed and installed in order to reduce the costs on overburden removal. The designed productivity of the system is 4 700 t/h and it will be fully operational in the next few weeks. Up to date it has been capable of achieving maximal 50% of this productivity because only one of two ...

STRUCTURAL AND MECHANICAL CHARACTERIZATION OF TITANIUM BIOCOMPATIBLE LAYERS DEPOSITED BY HVOF THERMAL SPRAYING METHOD

(Stef92 Technology, 2011-06-20, Radu Alexandru Roşu)

Titanium is a biocompatible material used in dentistry as una lloyed (minimum purity 99.4%) and alloyed, the most widely used is TiAl6V4 despite some reservations about the releasing of Al and V ions, which can be accumulated in the tissues. To increase the surface contact between the implant and bone, facilitating osseointegration the implants are coated with titanium or ceramic mate rials leading to a ro ughness surface which creates conditions for bone growth, resulting a better anchoring between the implant an...

The first version of ASMIв„ў is created in the period 1975-1980. we offer the third version of ASMIв„ў entended for modern PC operation with Windfows and integrated with popular program systems, such as AutoCADВ®, ExcelВ® and WordВ®. In all three versions the creators are following the ideology of ASMIв„ў: 1. this is a specialized system directed mainly to markshader insurance of open mines; 2. the algorithms, big part of wich are original reflect the success of the markshader and geodetic science, technology and ...

DETERMINING OF ACTUAL LOADING OF QUARRY TIP – LORRIES BELAZ 7513 AND 7514

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, M. Рњazhdrakov, B. Benova, D. Benov)

The activities in mine factories are unthinkable without a process of earth mass transportation. The expenses for the transport and related to it additional works (repairs, road construction, etc.) reaches to 40-50\% from general expenses for production of one ton of useful minerals. For the adequate esteem of the efficiency of the motor transport the directions of the objects periodically have to decide the problem with its rational use. The real loading of the tip-lorries could be used as many indicator. This in...

GEODESIC ACTIVITIES IN THE PREPARATION OF THE PROJECT “RECONSTRUCTION AND ELECTRIFICATION OF THE RAILWAY LINE PLOVDIV – SVILENGRAD - GREEK/TURKISH BORDER”

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, I. Zdravchev, G. Mitrev, S. Bakasheva)

The basic geodesic activities in the preparation of the Project “Reconstruction and Electrification of the Railway Line Plovdiv – Svilengrad – Greek/Turkish Border” have been described. The problems in the development of the working geodesic base, creation of a three-dimensional model, cadastral map, and the detailed structural layouts of the territory in question have been discussed. Specific attention has been paid to the procedures in changing the purpose of the agricultural and forestry territories and...

MODELING AND SIMULATION OF COAL WINNING PROCESS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, G. Teseleanu, N. Ilias, I. Andras, S. Radu, A. Andras)

The optimization of the coal winning process using different mechanical and alternative cutting techniques using appropried mathematical models is an up to date reserch methodology. In the paper, two kind of such models are presented, first using deterministic analytical relations evaluated by numerical calculus, and the second using Monte-Carlo simulation of the process using experimentally obtained test data to generate random values of intrinsic rock parameters and logic diagram for the functional connections b...

ON THE STABILITY OF STRUCTURALLY HETEROGENEOUS ROCK MASS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, V. Driban)

In this work in terms of the ideas of the zone of inelastic deformations generated around stress concentrators in heterogeneous rock mass as a quasi-plastic block medium having a microstructure, rigorous criteria of rock mass stability are obtained that naturally take into account mining-geological and geomechanical conditions. Theoretical ideas added to the problems of underground structure stability permitted to provide an explanation for paradoxical, in the view of classical representations, numerous cases of m...

RESULTS OF APPLICATION OF SOME NON –TRADITIONAL RESTORATION METHODS ON NORTH BOHEMIAN MINES LOCATIONS

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, M. Rehor, T. Lang, V. Ondracek, H. Lorencova)

The North-Bohemian Basin area is known for its largest Czech brown coal deposit. About 50\% brown coal reserves have been exploited in the North-Bohemian Basin by the mining company of Severoceske doly, a.s. (North Bohemian Mines) today. The opencast mining of brown coal naturally led to vast landscape damages. Therefore reclamation work has acquired great significance. The specific feature of Severoceske doly, a.s. mining is the fact that the mining has been realized in two geologically absolutely different local...

TWELVE METHODOLOGICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE AUTOMATION OF MANAGEMENT OF WORKING IN OPEN MINES

(SGEM Scientific GeoConference, 2005, M Mazhdrakov)

Twelve of the numerous methodological problems are represented. They appear in the development of the automated systems for control of the mine works at open mines; if these problems are not reported the work of the system can be compromised partially of totally. Shortly those problems could be formulated as follows: 1.The mine is not considered like a system; 2.A management of the model; 3.Hierarchy of proposes and limitations; 4.The depot – a solution or a problem; 5.Attention: literally performance; 6.In prob...
